No More Connection

Lord help me! Our spirit is willing but the body is weak. I know we genuinely want to serve God passionately. But we always return to our vomit and cry in secret. Now hear this! Sexual immorality is not something we pray against or something we fast against. What we need to do is: We RUN! Pick up our shoes and FLEE!!! Our body will want it, our mind desires it, but we have to RUN! Please RUN. Don't fall prey to our fleshy desires. Sexual immorality doesn't Stop, we never get enough of it. Stop picking their calls, block them on whatsapp, block them on Facebook, infact block them from all angles. The truth is! If that call connects again, you will fall again. And you will be doing your destiny a de-service. Please my brothers and sister, let that call never connect again.

Sustainable Development Policies

Image
Research is key to Sustainable Development. We have realized based on research, that most Nigerian students do not know how to conduct a research, write a project and publish a paper. Are you part of this category? Then let us help you.  We promised to enlighten Africans on Policies for Sustainable Development. Follow us on all our social media handles and get the policies. Alright this is Policy One as Promised.

CONFESSIONS OF THE GUILTY

Image
When a person is guilty, he must confess the sin. So change the way you think and act, and turn to God to have your sins removed.   Leviticus 5:5 and Acts 3:19. The entire Nigerian system is failing. Listen! Whatever you sow, you shall reap. If you do not reap it now, it will visit your children to the fourth generation and surely they will reap it. This is not a curse, it is a fact. We must all come out and confess, restitute all our evils and change our ways, if we desire anything different. The Federal Executive Council, the Legislators and the Judiciary council have been planning devoid of any corrective information from the past or any sustainable procedure for the future. I doubt our competence and our capability to transform the Nation. We keep doing the usual old things and expect an extraordinary new thing, Impossible! Leadership of revenge, favoritism, enrichment, injustice, etc. we all need a confession, every one of us. We need to change the way we th...

SO MUCH TALK

Image
No Action “Don’t talk so much, you keep putting your foot in your mouth. Be sensible and turn off the flow” Prov. 10:19. Action speaks louder than voice, action clarify words, and action bring words to life.  Words are powerful but actions are lethal. Words can be forgotten but actions keep replaying in our minds. Actions are indelible. The politicians have spoken all kinds of words, made all kinds of promises. They have spoken too much that their words are ordinary words with no power. Words of fallacies and falsehood. Our law makers have talked and talked and talked, talking out of point. Men and women whose words are meant to be law, now form the basis for caricature and national acrimony. Our religious brothers and sisters whose words should bring hope, healing and proclaim the truth, have become bullets and weapons used to slander, promote gossip, lies and confusion. Tongues of fire, instead of tongues of love! Mmmh! So far, our words have not in any way tra...

PRIVACY

Image
Privacy!! I’m alone, not watched and disturbed It’s within and intimate In my heart it’s mine In my heart it’s untold Privacy!! Difficult to have Especially in the physical state Within the face of the earth People! Does it exist? Privacy!! Even with locks and chains Someone, something finds it out It’s sealed and stamped Everybody and everything reads it Privacy!! Sometimes, the hard words to say are the best words to say.  It’s hard to say, I live for God; In the midst of your friends.  It’s hard to say I won’t default when all our friends are doing it.  It’s hard to say the truth, because you feel it'll hurt you badly.  It’s hard to say I’m sorry when you're so full of pride We can’t say our secrets, we just can't! We feel someone will raise an eyebrow.  We can't say our problems, otherwise we'll be mocked and despised.  We can't say, I trust you; it'll be used to our disadvantage.  It’s hard to say thank...

Hour of Opportunity

Image
A wise youth makes hay while the sun shines, but what a shame to see a lad who sleeps away his hour of opportunity. Prov. 10:5 To change the world one needs to be focused. You need to get an idea and stay with that idea. Truth is, it may not work out immediately, be patient, hold on to that vision it will surely manifest. Stop! Jumping from one place to another; if you do not have vision even America would be of no help to you. Stop! Changing vision lanes, stay where you are. Leave frivolities, forsake mundane things and hold on to that one thing that defines you, it will surely flourish. Youths know this, before the age of twenty; be a good student, listen a lot, learn new skills (soft skill, artisan skill and professional skills), be open to gaining new experience. Before 30 years; start applying your knowledge, inquire to learn more advanced skills, follow someone, make a lot of mistakes and get back up again, work in a small company to catch the passion and dreams, l...

SCIENCE FOR PRODUCTIVITY

Nigeria @56: Airport Traffic

Image
"Don't visit your Neighbour too often, or you will outwear your welcome" - Prov. 25:17. When I was a young child, I remember my dad always screamed at me, "Chimezirim stop going to Reuben's house" and I'll always grumble, "why?" My dad will look at me sternly with his bloodshot eyes and say in a deep tone, "doesn't Reuben know your house?" My inquisition grew as to why I always went to Reuben's house, only to discover that Reuben had a Nintendo gaming system (N64 as its usually called). I went back to my dad and said, "daddy if you want me to stop going to Reuben's house often, please buy me a Play Station III gaming system, at that time a gaming system far higher in graphics than the Nintendo 64. Guess what, "Reuben practically slept at my house every weekend" Nigeria it is time for other countries to practically struggle to visit us, because of what we have, "a technology far higher t...

ENTREPRENEURIAL LESSONS FROM DeeTouch

Image
We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the word of life. – 1 John 1:1 Firsthand experience is the key to achieving a productive and industrialized nation. For a long time, Nigeria has been neglecting the importance of “work of our Hands” by its citizens. Nigeria needs people who have not only heard of our problems, but people who have seen the problem and entangle themselves with the course of solving the problem. The other day I watched a bride preparing for marriage, I thought, “how can she lay down her guard and allow a stranger mutilate her face with chemicals all in the name of make-up?” This was her reply, “I have known her works, they are splendid and all her works are for good” Wow! That means if I want a job done, I must recruit people with a history of achievement, People who are committed, people who are capable and People whose interest are at s...

Shadow of a Country

I THINK EVERY NIGERIAN THAT LOVES NIGERIA OUGHT TO READ THIS WITH PATIENCE. The biggest country in Africa that the United Kingdom colonized is Nigeria.  The biggest country that the United Kingdom colonized in Asia is India (which then comprised the present Pakistan and Bangladesh).  When the UK came into Nigeria and India, like all other countries they colonized, they brought along their technology, religion (Christianity), and culture: names, dressing, food, language, etc. Try as hard as the British did, India rejected the British religion, names, dressing, food, and even language, but they did not reject the British technology.  Today, 80.5% of Indians are Hindus; 13.4% Muslims; 2.3% Christians; 1.9% Sikhs; 0.8% Buddhists, etc.  Hindi is the official language of the government of India, but English is used extensively in business and administration and has the status of a “subsidiary official language.”  It is rare to find an Indi...

KINGS COURT

Image
“When you remove corrupt men from the king’s court, his reign will be just and fair” - Prov. 25:5. It is not enough for you as a leader to be pure, your advisers and counsel members also need to be pure. Corruption is a disease, it kills gradually and if not detected on time and handled quickly, can ruin an entire kingdom, country, company or community. It has been said many times, “you cannot continue the same way and expect a different result.” I thought we are in the era of change, then why is everyone in authority being recycled, no new input no notable change agent, no different strategy, no vanguard, no different ideology, rather we are fortifying strategies for the blame game. My father taught me saying, “whenever I occupy a seat of authority, I should not compare myself with the former occupants, I should not use their achievements as my benchmark. Rather, I should concentrate on setting a high standard or an outstanding record that generations to come after I ...

Many Advantages

"To be wise is as good as being rich; in fact, it is better. You can get anything by either wisdom or money, but being wise has many advantages" Ecc. 7:11-12.  Our society has been made to believe that riches, that is money is the ultimate. The search for wisdom has been truncated and termed futile. No wonder Kogi state, even with its 29 mineral resources deposit available in commercial quantities, still manage to be so under developed. Each of the 21 LGAs has at least 2 mineral deposits. Kogi  holds reserves of at least 99 million tonnes of coal, enough to supply all of Nigeria power for 400 years. The limestone in Kogi can accommodate 3 giant-sized cement factories (with over 15 million tonnes annual capacity) operational for an unbroken stretch of 99 years. That is one state out of 36 states! But yet we choose to chase oil money. We have neglected the many advantages we would accumulate if we pursue after wisdom. Our policy making processes have been greatly...

FINISH

Although starting is difficult, but once you start things ease off. Finishing a thing is more glorious! I wonder if our Nigerian politicians have come across this theory, because every time a politician is campaigning for an office he is glorious, but after their tenure Nigerians hiss in disdain, displeasure and disappointment. “Finishing is better than starting! Patience is better than Pride!” Ecc. 7:8. Projects in Nigeria are quick to be discussed, quick to be awarded but oftentimes 90% of the projects approved and awarded are abandoned. Abandoned projects! Abandoned projects!! Abandoned projects!!! Is it not more glorious to say, “In my tenure, I finished this and that, rather than I started several projects and couldn’t finish them”. When shall we have a government that will realize that, starting is not as crucial, important and delicate as ending? The glory is not in having several projects, but in having one project at a time that is finished in due time and at the ri...

A PRODUCTIVE COMMUNITY

“But other seeds fell on good soil and produced a crop, some 100, some 60, and some 30 times what was sown” For seven years, I concentrated on a particular research, my obsession was directed towards the growth, development and industrialization of Nigeria. That obsession is still fresh till today. In 2014, I published a book with scientific models for sustainable development titled, “ The Journey to Industrialization ” . As usual a few friends laughed at me, they say Nigeria is in peril, beyond repair. But I disagree! In 2016, a formula designed for a productive citizen, clan, religious congregation, community and country followed suite. Here is the formula; P c = C(S L + E L + D L + I L + R L )(1 + r/n) nt . Look and study the formula above, it is our strategy for a new and productive Nigeria. I shall not be deterred by those who say Nigeria is beyond repair because I believe there is a good soil and there are good seeds and they have started producing. I shall not be d...

Heavy Heart

“Laughter cannot mask a heavy heart. When the laughter ends, the grief remains” Face your challenge, do not avoid it! Some challenges may fade away after a while but often times they resurface. Therefore the best strategy is to face your challenge either by synergy or by yourself. Never allow someone else face your challenge for you. They are robbing you off your blessings. Whenever you face a challenge, you come out stronger, you come out more knowledgeable, you come out more experienced and you come out victorious. Here is a story of a young man born 1984, father died 1999, mother died 2010, yet he finished BSc after fathers’ death, Finished MSc after mothers’ death: self-financed. He wrote two story books before he was fifteen, he has written over two hundred poems, he has at least twelve scripts, he has written two books, won state award of excellence during the National Youth Service Corps program, he also won National hero’s award by Covenant Ministerial Chaplaincy, trav...

Business First

“Develop your business first before building your house” First things first; business before pleasure. God gave Adam his work description in the Old Testament before he presented him with a wife. Everyone goes through a series of education and training before he is employed for an opportunity to apply his knowledge. This means we all need to establish our occupation first before we rest. What is your business? What are you known for? What is it you are very good at doing? In Africa, especially my country Nigeria, we love pleasure a lot, to a point we have neglected work. So many of us grow old not knowing exactly what our core business in this world is meant to be. We have houses, beautiful houses but yet no unique identity. It is so bad, that as it stands now, so many Nigerians do not know how to work. The truth! Nigerians, please develop your business, your occupation, your name, your skill, your ability, your workmanship, your industry, your product, your service, your ...

Ourselves

Then they said, "Come let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the earth." Is there any country in the world, where you won't find a Nigerian? Don't you think this is because we have refused to come together and build for ourselves a comfortable and all encompassing city? We fail to aim for a goal that is bigger than us. Finally, we have also failed to realize the importance of a name and that a good name is more precious than riches. In productivity, a product is attached to a personality. 10% buy the product not minding the personality of the producer, 90% buy a product because of the personality behind the product among other factors. These days people do not want to openly associate with demerits, failures, corrupt, etc.  Imagine this scenario; the conceptual view of some countries of Nigeria is that they are 'FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT', what do y...
