Chimezirim

Do you know who you are? Sometimes the meaning of your name portrays who you are. To me Nigeria means a "Precious Area" this ideology makes me value my country more. My name is Young Chimezirim Charles and this is what someone says my name means, "someone who is endowed with the wonderful characteristic of multi-talents and versatility. Chimezirim can do so many things well. Chimezirim will likely be the master of adaptability and change. Chimezirim is good at presenting ideas and knowing how to approach people to get what Chimezirim wants. Naturally, this gives Chimezirim an edge in any sort of selling game and spells easy success when it comes to working with people in most jobs. His popularity may lead Chimezirim toward some form of entertainment or amusement. Whatever Chimezirim does, Chimezirim is clever, analytical, and a very quick thinker. Very adaptable and versatile. The Change Policy

2 Corinthians 4:18, "The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." Holding on to the visible change alone is not sustainable, why? you may change the situation of power, change the conditions of the roads, revive the rail system, revamp industries and transform the business environment to a favourable one. If you do not solidify and fortify for the unseen war, all the physical change will come crumbling down. The real change, is the mindset change, policy change and proper reorientation. we need to develop a new concept of Nigeria in the minds of the citizens, we need to make them believe in Nigeria. We need to increase their level of Patriotism and ordain millions of change agents. Do you want change? transform yourself: only then can you transform Nigeria and beyond. Book Review - The Journey to Industrialization by Victor Afamefuna Ozodinobi Col (rtd) Former Military Administrator, Borno State.

The Journey to Industrialization has been structured into five interesting headings. Each of these headings is very important for the government at all levels, industrial policymakers, and tertiary institutions. The book deals with the history of many industrial nations of the world and other emerging markets such as Brazil and Singapore. Any nation whose leaders fail to learn from the past has no journey to make into industrialization. Nigeria has a lot to learn about industrialization from Singapore and Malaysia whose living standard or economies were below that of Nigeria in the early 1960’s. The question Nigerians should ask is what went wrong? Nigerian founding fathers laid a good foundation for industrial and agricultural developments in the 60’s. In 1960’s Nigeria was on its way to industrial development which was pushed vigorously by the then three (3) regions – Northern, Eastern and Western regions. Nigeria was prominent in the world in many agricultural products vis-a...

HIGHER PRICES

Prov 11:26, "People curse the man who holds his grain for higher prices, but they bless the man who sells it to them in their time of need." Is Nigeria being cursed? For several years it has become a custom to deny the needy basic amenities either by hoarding, price hike, selfish purchases and/or the provision of substandard goods. Fuel prices must go up, it must be hoarded and most times adulterated substances are sold. This results in the poor not being able to buy fuel, they have to park their cars and enter public transport. Their efficiency and productivity level drops. Those who don't have vehicles and can't pay for public transport trek, also reducing their efficiency and productivity level. So many who do not have jobs and money die of starvation and frustration. Yet it is OK to purchase a car at 36 million, meanwhile we haven't totally solved the issue of fuel scarcity. Do you know how many industries and supportive refineries 1.3 billion would plant...

Good Men

Prov 2:21, "For only good men enjoy life to the full." Being good is the best policy. A good man's name is a legacy. Its not easy to be good, evil men want to make you their partners so they can drag you into walking down dark and evil paths. They want to soil your name. Do you want to be a good man? Do you want to enjoy life to the full? Seek wisdom! Wisdom will give you sense to stay away from evil men. Being good is painful, unfair or daunting. Don't worry, the evil men will loose the good things they might have had, and they themselves shall be destroyed.  Please Join Young Charles as he advocates for the journey towards industrialization. Stamp Out Evil

Prov. 20:26, “A wise King stamps out crime by severe punishment” Crime in Nigeria is very high. A group of people are exempted from punishment, some people are specially pardoned, some others are not even questioned at all, while some others do not know the difference between crime, corruption, evil and being good. These special people are the exceptionally rich politicians, public officers and popular artists. Meanwhile, if a poor citizen should commit a crime he would be torn apart. No wonder my grandfather advised my father, who in turn advised me, saying,"My son do not steal, do not commit crime at all, ever! but if you must, make sure it is worth more than Five (5) billion, only then will your punishment be FREEDOM" Imagine! Numbers

Prov. 14:28, “A growing population is a kings glory; a dwindling nation is his doom” Population is not our problem. A stick of broom can easily be broken but a bunch of broom is difficult to break. Our problem is disunity. Disunity in two diverse levels; Tribalism, and Religious segmentation. In fact even the educated discriminate the illiterate. We need to learn how to accommodate each other, synergize well and form a formidable team. Let us not weaken ourselves with nepotism, selfishness and greed. Imagine this, where one person can overcome, produce and educate one thousand others, what will a congregation of like minded-united one hundred and seventy million people do? Exploits! Work

Prov. 14:23, “Work brings profit; talk brings poverty” When most of our time is spent on social media; Facebook, Whatsapp, 2go, BBM, etc, chatting without pulling in a reasonable income, that is poverty! When we spend time conversing about the ills of leadership, politics and religion, that is poverty! When we spend time thinking about the things that don't work, that too is definitely poverty! Ah! When we sit and talk endlessly about soccer or football, that is definitely poverty. Also, when we do not have anything to contribute to the changing and transformation process of the Nation, that is the highest poverty level! We all need to be action oriented, get to work! Don't just sit there, do something and do it quick, in fact! Do it now. The producers of the social media apps, the politicians, religious heads, soccer players and managers are not poor. Why waste time talking about them? Why not be productive, thinking productive, speaking productive? Let your hands get d...

Peculiarity

Prov. 14:10, “Only the person involved can know his own bitterness or joy – no one else can really share it” Tackling life issues can best be handled by you. I mean by yourself! Contracting it out may result to so many things like, it may not meet your standard, it may not be done with the same zeal as you would have done it, it may also lack the need of urgency and it will definitely cost you more. So why pay more and receive in short supply? Of course, there would be need for counsel, advisers to guide you aright. If you need advice, please stay away from fools. It is more prestigious to seek for counsel on how to do things and work towards doing things yourself. If you fail, Try! Try!! and Try again. Truth be told, “no one can understand us better than ourselves, therefore let us all learn to do things by ourselves.” Please Join Charles Young as he advocates for the Journey towards Industrialization. 08033096760, twitter: @jawsyoung and BBM: 7aa184a8.
