The search for wisdom has been truncated and termed futile. No wonder Kogi state, even with its 29 mineral resources deposit available in commercial quantities, still manage to be so under developed. Each of the 21 LGAs has at least 2 mineral deposits. Kogi  holds reserves of at least 99 million tonnes of coal, enough to supply all of Nigeria power for 400 years. The limestone in Kogi can accommodate 3 giant-sized cement factories (with over 15 million tonnes annual capacity) operational for an unbroken stretch of 99 years. That is one state out of 36 states! I wonder if our Nigerian politicians have come across this theory, because every time a politician is campaigning for an office he is glorious, but after their tenure Nigerians hiss in disdain, displeasure and disappointment. “Finishing is better than starting!
