KINGS COURT

“When you remove corrupt men from the king’s court, his reign will be just and fair” - Prov. 25:5.

It is not enough for you as a leader to be pure, your advisers and counsel members also need to be pure. Corruption is a disease, it kills gradually and if not detected on time and handled quickly, can ruin an entire kingdom, country, company or community.

It has been said many times, “you cannot continue the same way and expect a different result.” I thought we are in the era of change, then why is everyone in authority being recycled, no new input no notable change agent, no different strategy, no vanguard, no different ideology, rather we are fortifying strategies for the blame game.

My father taught me saying, “whenever I occupy a seat of authority, I should not compare myself with the former occupants, I should not use their achievements as my benchmark. Rather, I should concentrate on setting a high standard or an outstanding record that generations to come after I have left the seat, will be struggling to beat/outdo.” If you think I am talking about our “OGA’s ONTOP” alone then you are wrong. We are all Kings in our own kingdoms and domains. Are we corrupt?

Everyone should join the fight of anti-corruption, not because the president is spear-heading it, but because we now know that anti-corruption will result in a just and fair regime.
