Our Woman Crush Wednesday
It's another beautiful Wednesday and you know what that means... it's time to pick our Woman Crush for the week.I actually thought really hard about this but I came to the conclusion that the Queen I would love to have as our woman Crush Wednesday for the week is no one else but queen herself..Mrs Patience Ozokwor A.K.A Mama Gee...G for general(😏😊)..
Patience Ozokwor, born 14 September 1958, is a Nigerian musician, fashion designer, gospel singer and actress. She won the Best Supporting Actress 2012 & 2013 award at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Patience Ozokwor was among the top 100 Nigerians honoured by the government to celebrate the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in the year 2014.
Patience Ozokwo was born in the village of Amaobo, Ngwo in present-day Enugu State, Nigeria, and attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos. Patience Ozokwor had a passion for acting ever since she was at primary school, where she would act in different stage plays. She later attended Institute of management and technology Enugu, where Patience obtained a degree in fine and applied arts. Before starting as an actress, she was already a star before acting and first made it into radio drama. She took part in a soap opera by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) titled Someone Cares. She was married at age 1and has three biological children and five adopted ones who all bear her name. She lost her husband in the year 2000.[citation needed] She expressed her life's biggest regret as not being able to marry the man of her choice, and also her children preventing her from remarrying after she lost her husband.
She is a literal queen and more. The way she carries her role and literally becomes her character is just noteworthy. Most Nigerians know her as the impossible to please mother-in-law or wicked stepmother but I guarantee you that she is more than that.
I don't want to type much but just know that She really inspired me to venture into acting(lol..yes I act o but me eh..i play too much so you won't know till I move to the acting realm)..
Thank you ma for all you have contributed to our movie industry.
