Our WCW for the week
Hello... Welcome to our W.C.W segnment for this week. Now this is the one day in every week where we pick a certain lady and talk a little about her and also tell you why we picked her...
Our W.C.W for this week is the one and. Only Genevieve Nnaji.....(round of applause cue here).
Yes..we picked the beautiful Genevieve to grace our blog today and i can'ttt tell you how happy I am..i mean sure it's just me writing a bunch of stuff here and not talking to her physically..yet..but one day I will so i am just practicing ahead of time. Anyway..here are a few things about this lovely lady...
Genevieve Nnaji was born on the 3rd of May 1979. She is a Nigerian actress, producer, and director. She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actor to win the award. In 2011, she was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government for her contributions to Nollywood. Her directorial debut movie, Lionheart, is the first Netflix Originated from Nigeria and the first Nigerian submission for the Oscars. The movie was disqualified for having most of its dialogue in English. After having spent decades in the movie industry, she was profiled alongside some celebrities and business executives in 2020 in two new books by publisher and Editor in Chief l, 'Yes International!' magazine, Azuh Arinze.
Miss Nnaji was born in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, and grew up in Lagos. She is the fourth of eight children. she was raised in a middle-class family; her father worked as an engineer while her mother was a nursery school teacher.
She attended Methodist Girls College (Yaba, Lagos), before proceeding to the University of Lagos, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in creative arts. It was actually at the university that she began auditioning for acting jobs in Nollywood.
There is so much about this spectacular woman that if we should go on with it..then trust me,you'll not move from your seat.. Is it the awards?.. or the fact that she has broken many records or the fact that this beautiful lady actually modeled?.She is indeed the true definition of beauty and brains..
Thank you ma for all you've done.. We love you and you deserve to grace our Woman Crush Wednesday segment this week..
Well.. That's all for this week... See you all next week❤
