Nigeria @56: Airport Traffic
When I was a young child, I remember my dad always screamed at me, "Chimezirim stop going to Reuben's house" and I'll always grumble, "why?" My dad will look at me sternly with his bloodshot eyes and say in a deep tone, "doesn't Reuben know your house?"
My inquisition grew as to why I always went to Reuben's house, only to discover that Reuben had a Nintendo gaming system (N64 as its usually called). I went back to my dad and said, "daddy if you want me to stop going to Reuben's house often, please buy me a Play Station III gaming system, at that time a gaming system far higher in graphics than the Nintendo 64.
Guess what, "Reuben practically slept at my house every weekend" Nigeria it is time for other countries to practically struggle to visit us, because of what we have, "a technology far higher than that of the our neighbours. Nigeria it is time for people to know your house; not for negative reasons but as great people as we are. Nigeria it is time to show-off our capability and intellect. Nigeria it is time to be truly independent. Nigeria it's time to compete for a place and respect from the world. Nigeria it is to shine.
Nigerians take pride in traveling out of the country, that's wrong. Our pride should be in how much airtraffic our worth has caused. Nigeria you are getting old, your no longer a child. Will u not learn?
This is an interesting point you are making. I believe you are still going to say more about it-why we take pride in travelling abroad than in attracting and receiving visitors. Something is just wrong with our thinking as a people, something got to be about this.keep digging young.
