Love of Money
Hebrews 13:5, " Keep your lives free from the love of money,"
1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil."
The challenge of Nigeria is not necessarily tribalism, nepotism, religious segmentation or any other rancor. The major challenge of Nigeria is making our oil wealth the centre of our lives. Our love for money makes us fall into temptations and traps us to foolish and harmful desires that plunge us into ruin and destruction.
They fail to realize that whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the rigtheous will flourish like a green leaf. Hear this; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions, but in the proceeds directly or indirectly of his extravagant generosity towards others, that is, How much he helps others? especially strangers.
